Tasmanian Redline Coaches formed in 1963 is a wholly owned Tasmanian company and prides itself as being the major route coach service/charter/tour operator in the State.
In 1991 as a consequences of increased competition on the main scheduled coach routes the company formed a separate division -
TRC FREIGHT.

TRC FREIGHT has progressively grown to be a major intrastate freight operator and now trades under the banner of Tasmania's own REDLINE - FREIGHT SERVICES.
It boasts 39 delivery vehicles both operated by company drivers and dedicated contractors serving all major population centres in the State. These delivery vehicles are supported by more than 18 general carriers enabling the company to service every location in Tasmania.
The movement of freight between Burnie/Launceston/Hobart each night is effected with the company's own 40 tonne rigid Kenworth truck and trailer pantech, a contracted B Double trailer combination as well as the large freight bins on the company's main road coaches. These coaches travel between main centres five times a day and have the ability to carry six pallets or crates of freight in addition to passenger luggage. Overnight linehaul backup is provided by one of three 8-10 tonne rigid pantechs.
The Management have identified that QUALITY ASSURANCE is not about talk and consideration butTollTruck.jpg (39480 bytes) about delivery and action. To this end we are making our staff constantly aware of the need to be customer focused and to perform their duties in a calm courteous and efficient manner. Although there are times when difficult situations test our staff to their limits they are constantly being made aware of the necessity to put the customer's need first.
A new and innovative TRAINING PROGRAM - "Qualifications for Tasmania's" has been commenced by the company for all staff. Freight staff  are being assessed in all facets of our business and in particular product handling and customer service and on completion will be qualified for Certificate III Transport and Distribution.
